The GdBa2Cu3O7-δ(GdBaCuO)powders were synthesized by the solid state reaction method.The Ag/GdBaCuO〖JP〗 composites were prepared by sintering GdBaCuO with Ag at different mass fractions.The structure and morphology of Ag/GdBaCuO composites were investigated by Xray diffraction,scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive Xray analysis,respectively.The tribological properties of Ag/GdBaCuO composites were measured on the friction and wear tester.The results indicate that the silver particles distribute in the GdBaCuO matrix,improving the density of Ag/GdBaCuO composites,while the structure of GdBaCuO has not be changed.The friction coefficient and wear rate of the samples with silver are lower than those of pure GdBaCuO samples under the same test conditions.When Ag content is 20%,the composites have the best tribological properties.The silver particles in the Ag/GdBaCuO composites are transferred to the friction surface under shearing force,which plays the role of solid lubricant and reduce the friction coefficient and wear rate of Ag/GdBaCuO composite.
