Abstract:Taking the gas radial hybrid bearing with slot restrictors as the research object,the Reynolds equation of compressible gas lubrication was solved by using the finite difference method to obtain the pressure distribution.The parameters of bearing capacity,stiffness and damping coefficients that characterize the static and dynamic characteristics of journal bearings were calculated,and the influence of the structural parameters of bearing such as eccentricity,aspect ratio and groove width ratio,and the supply pressure and speed on the dynamic and static performance of bearing was analyzed.The results show that when other parameters of bearing are determined,the bearing with continuous slit has a larger bearing capacity and rigidity compared with the bearing with noncontinuous slit.The bearing capacity and rigidity of the bearing with continuous slit can be improved by increasing the eccentricity,the aspect ratio,the supply pressure and reducing the groove width ratio.The bearing hydrodynamic effects is prominent under the condition of large eccentricity rate and high dynamic speed,which can effectively improve the bearing capacity and stability.
