Abstract:In order to study the motion behavior and friction characteristics between the sliding vane and the chute of a rolling piston compressor,the highspeed camera technology was used to observe the dynamic clearance between sliding vane and chute working in a periodic operation process in a selfdeveloped equivalent device of sliding vanechute mechanical pair based on floating chute.It is found that there is a two order motion of the sliding vane.Through the analysis of lubrication state,it is concluded that the two order motion of the sliding vane has a great influence on the friction force between the sliding vane and the chute by changing the oil film thickness,and the study on the friction characteristics of the sliding vane and the chute of the rolling piston compressor should consider the influence of the two order motion of the sliding vane.The friction curves on both sides of sliding vane were obtained by a friction dynamic measurement experiment.It is showed that the sliding vane and the chute on the side of suction chamber is in fluid lubrication state,and the changing rate of friction is smaller.While the sliding vane and the chute on the side of compression chamber is in mixed lubrication or boundary lubrication conditions of solidtosolid contact,and the changing rate of friction is larger.The results of the friction measurement further confirm the existence of the two order motion of the sliding vane,and the two order motion affects the friction between the sliding vane and the chute by changing the oil film thickness.
