A drawing oil with Newton and non Newton mixed system was prepared,and its viscosity prediction method was studied.The highviscosity and solid components of the drawing oil were diluented and regulated with ethylene glycol as a diluents at different temperature to obtain a completely watersoluble drawing oil system.With temperature and concentration of the thinner as the independent variables,the parameters of Eyring and Boltzmann equations were calculated and regressed by using the linear and nonlinear least squares to obtain a fourparameter model and the relations of the parameters with the thinner concentration.The relative percentage error of the viscosity prediction value of this model is 1567% compared with the experimental values,indicating that the model can be used for the viscosity prediction of the hybrid system and meets the demand of engineering scaleup.
