    Abstract:

    The influence of structural parameters of cylindrical roller bearings on their lubrication characteristics was studied based on the theory of elastohydrodynamic lubrication.By combining the elastic contact deformation equation and the fluid dynamics lubrication equation,an elastohydrodynamic lubrication model suitable for roller bearings was established to study the changes in frictional properties of roller bearings under different parameters,such as ellipticity,load,entrainment speed,and viscosity.The results show that the ellipticity,load,suction speed,and viscosity will affect parameters such as pressure peak and secondary pressure peak to varying degrees.As the ellipticity increases,the oil film thickness and pressure significantly increase,as the load increases,the overall pressure,pressure peak,secondary pressure peak and their sharpness significantly increase,but the minimum oil film thickness slightly decreases.There is a significant positive correlation between viscosity and minimum oil film thickness and pressure.There is a weak positive correlation between entrainment velocity and oil film thickness,and a weak negative correlation between entrainment velocity and oil film pressure.Therefore,increasing the ellipticity and reducing the load to a certain extent is beneficial for improving lubrication performance.
