The technology of water lubricated friction pair has been widely studied and applies in the area of mechanical transmission since 70's, because water Iubricated friction pair has many dvantages over the conventional oil lutricated one.And water luricated friction pair has many characteristics different from the conventional oil lubricated one because of difference in properties between water and oil, so there are some key problems such as corrosive wear and gas corrosion,which are specially investigated in this paper,and the ways to solve these problems are put forward.
