Abstract:The phenomenon of liquid droplets impacting on porous surfaces widely exists in industrial,agricultural production and life fields.Compared with the impact of droplets on the non-porous surfaces,the capillary force caused by the pores on the porous surfaces will have a certain impact on the dynamic behavior of the droplets.The study of the spreading,penetration,evaporation and heat transfer of liquid droplets on porous surfaces is of great significance for regulating the spreading the droplet spreading to meet the application requirements of different fields.The article summarizes theoretical,numerical and experimental research methods of droplets impacting on porous surfaces.Meanwhile,the influences of the impact velocity,droplet diameter,porosity,pore size,Weber number,viscosity and surface tension on droplet dynamic behavior is reviewed.It is proposed that the study of droplets on porous surfaces can be carried out from the aspects of theoretical model establishment that is more in line with droplet impact on porous media,droplet characteristics in novel porous media and thermal physical parameter testing technology.
