Abstract:The viscosity of the lubricating medium of water lubricated bearing is low,and the dynamic pressure lubrication of bearing is difficult to form.The study on the lubrication state transition characteristics of water lubricated bearings can provide a basis for the design and optimization of water lubricated composite bearings.The fluid structure interaction calculation model of water lubricated bearing was established,and the relationship between bearing capacity,water film pressure and bearing deformation with working conditions was studied.The test method of water film thickness was proposed,and the variation rules of bearing friction coefficient and water film thickness with rotating speed and load were studied.The results show that with the increase of eccentricity and speed,the bearing capacity,maximum water film pressure and maximum deformation increase gradually,and with the increase of speed,the increase of bearing capacity,maximum water film pressure and maximum deformation decrease gradually.It is found by test that with the increase of load,the film thickness ratio of modified UHMWPE bearing from hydrodynamic lubrication to hydrodynamic lubrication decreases gradually.
