Abstract:The inductive abrasive sensor has unique advantages in the application of on-line monitoring of lubricating oil and abrasive particles in mechanical equipment. The size, quantity and quality of abrasive particles in oil can be obtained by measuring the inductive voltage signal output by the sensor, and then the wear degree of equipment can be judged. In order to study the influence of the distance between two adjacent coils on the output induction signal of the inductive three coil sensor,a three-dimensional model of the sensor was established based on the principle of differential three coils mutual inductance. The transient electromagnetic simulation of the sensors detection process of ferromagnetic abrasive particles was carried out by using the software JMAG-Designer 12.0.The influence of coil distance on the output induction electromotive force of the sensor was analyzed. The rationality of the simulation results was verified by making sensors for experiments. The results show that when the coil spacing is less than 2.5 mm,the electromotive force is increased with the increase of the coil spacing, when the coil spacing is greater than 2.5 mm,the electromotive force is decreased with the increase of the coil spacing, when the coil spacing is 2.5 mm,the sensor has the largest electromotive force, the change trend of the sensor output signal is close to that of the theoretical sinusoidal signal, and the signal interference is the smallest and the signal is most stable.
