Abstract:The harmonic response characteristics of water lubricated rubber stern bearing under shock load were analyzed by using the finite element computation software ANSYS.The influence rule and influence degree on the dynamic characteristic of water lubricated rubber stern bearing by the structure of bearing and the properties of material were studied,such as rubber hardness,the number of panels,the thickness of lining and the material of bushing.Results show that the increase of rubber hardness and lining thickness can greatly reduce the strain and stress of the lining,and the increase of the number of rubber panels can also reduce the strain and stress of the lining,however,except for a slight decrease in stress,the changing of bushing material has little influence on the strain of the lining.Therefore,the effect of shock resistant of water lubricated rubber stern bearing can be improved by increasing the rubber hardness,the number of panels and the thickness of lining.
