Abstract:To study the sealing performance of Csliding ring combined seal,Abaqus was utilized to establish its twodimensional axisymmetric finite element model.Some factors influencing the maximum Von Mises and the maximum contact stress were studied,such as working pressure,seal clearance,reciprocating motion velocity and friction coefficient.The results show that,under the static sealing condition,the maximum contact stress between the Oring and the Csliding ring is the key of sealing during the static sealing,both of the maximum Von Mises and the maximum contact stress of Oring and Csliding ring show an increasing trend with the increase of the working pressure,and the smaller the seal clearance is,the better the sealing performance is.Under the dynamic sealing condition,the seal clearance and working pressure nearly has the same trend with that under the static sealing condition.The smaller the friction coefficient between the Csliding ring and the piston rod is,the better the sealing performance is.The reciprocating motion velocity has little influence on the contact stress.
