Most liquid lubricating systems are inevitably supplied with lubricant containing contaminant particles.In order to solve the lubrication of hydrodynamic bearing with solid particles more efficiently,the analysis of oil film pressure based on Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) was discussed.The fundamental and computing procedure of LBM was introduced.Fluid lubrication was studied by LBM from the point of view of lubricant flow,and the discrete LBM model of lubricant was built.The oil film pressure was obtained from the simulation of the model.The results obtained from LBM are in good agreement with the results calculated by finite difference method.The finer the mesh of lubrication area in LBM,the smaller the error of the result is.The research result shows that the simulation of the hydrodynamic bearing lubrication with solid particles in oils by LBM is practicable.
