Aimed at journal misalignment caused by heavyduty and installation,the film thickness equation of radial bearing was derived,and fluid lubrication model considering journal misalignment was established.Taking a certain heavyduty bearing as an example,the lubrication performance of misalignment journal bearing was analyzed.The results show that the distribution of oil film pressure are no longer symmetry about equatorial plane,the peak is migrated,and the deviation is serious with the tilt angle increased.The oil film thickness of the end face closing to axis is smaller than that of the end face far from axis,the difference value of the oil film thickness between two end faces is larger than the minimum film thickness when the tilt angle is rather great,which may lead to rub impact of rotors and bearing,and even burning tile,therefore journal misalignment must be considered when designing bearing.A trial of largescale heavyduty bearing carried out on balancing machine verifies the t correctness of theoretical results.
