In order to improve the effectiveness and accuracy of oil monitoring and fault diagnosis,the basic thinkings and methods of correlation analysis were used to explore the change regulation of spectral element,additive content,acid number and water content under given conditions through the analysis of the test results.The results indicate that there are correlation between the spectral element and additive variation and wear of friction pair,as well as acid number and water content with wear conditions.The integrated application of those information contributes to make the oil monitoring and fault diagnosis more accurately.
