Abstract:Through the study of the accelerated aging test of rubber sealing materials,the corresponding relationship between the storage time and the accelerated aging time of the rubber in compression state was gained.According to the relationship,the accelerated aging test of dynamic O-ring used in compensatory configuration of mechanical seal in standby storage condition was carried out,and the relationship of change of compression permanent deformation and micro friction with the storage time of the dynamic O-ring was set up.The static air tightness test and running test was carried out for the accelerated aging dynamic O-ring.The results show that,with the extension of standby storage time,the radial compression permanent deformation of the dynamic O-ring is increased,the micro friction is reduced.But the change of the performance does not lead to the leakage of mechanical seal within 30 years’ standby storage.
