Abstract:Based on HSR-2M highspeed reciprocating friction and wear tester, the effects of reciprocating velocity, normal force and reciprocating sliding distance on the friction and wear properties of rotary tiller dryland blade were studied under dry condition, and the wear mechanism was analysed by the worn surface morphologies. The experimental results show that the friction coefficient decreases with the increasing of reciprocating velocities and normal forces. With the increasing of reciprocating velocities, the wear volume loss firstly decreases and then increases, but with the increasing of normal forces and reciprocating sliding distances, the wear volume loss increases.Under dry condition, the wear mechanisms are mainly abrasive wear. The experimental results are valuable in the suitable evaluation of the friction and wear properties of rotary tiller dryland blade.
